Ken Jervis Kia Makes a B-Line
Ken Jervis Kia is doing its bit to help the environment and motorist’s pockets by offering Stoke on Trent residents reduced emissions models of the Picanto, Rio, cee’d and pro_cee’d models. All four ranges now have models in the sub 120g VED Band B, meaning a saving of up to £85 a year on tax. Each of these models also offer over 60mpg, meaning further between fill-ups too.
“We’re delighted to be able to offer these Kia models to our customers,” said Richard Tongue, Sales Manager at Ken Jerivs Kia. “The people in Stoke on Trent are just as concerned about the environment as the rest of the UK so having a more environmentally friendly option when looking at buying a new car is fantastic.”
All Picanto models are now four-seat versions, reducing the overall weight of the car and in turn reducing CO2 emissions to as low as 117g/km. This makes Kia’s smallest car not just kind to the environment but kind on your wallet too.
The Rio supermini has also had some attention, reducing emissions on the 1.5-litre CRDi engine to 119g/km. Continuing to reduce emissions on diesel engines, Kia has adjusted the standard output diesel engine available in the new cee’d and pro_cee’d models. The 1.6-litre CRDi engine now emits just 119g/km with an economical combined fuel consumption of 62.8 mpg. This makes its emissions lower than ever taking it into Band B, along with the Rio and Picanto who now all benefit from the cost of the Road Fund Licence being just £35.00 per year; a tax saving of £85 from the previous £120 a year. Couple this with Kia’s unique seven-year, bumper-to-bumper warranty and you’ll be stuck for excuses not to buy from the cee’d range!
Richard Tongue at Ken Jervis Kia continues: “Kia is continually growing in appeal and we’re very pleased to offer drivers a range of viable, economical alternatives to what’s already in the market.”
