Fab service from Ken Jarvis Kia! My Kia Carens was having trouble starting up from cold, so we booked it in to see what the problem was. I dropped it off at 5pm and by 10.30am the following day, I was told I could go and collect it as the problem was fixed! Less than 24 hours and I had my car back, fixed, and I only had to pay the cost of a courtesy car for the day as my car was still in the 7 year warranty. Brilliant. We have just returned from a drive in My Sorento 2017 KX3 2.2 diesel automatic to southern Spain and return with no problems at all. We had a loaded car the boot full and the rear passenger seats full as well. total mileage 3757 miles and diesel used 420.16 L- 92.422 gallons this gives 40.65 MPG. And yes we did keep to the sometimes stupid legal road speeds. 80MPH on motorways generally, 12-18 MPH in towns at times. Air con on all the time. Incidentally we cannot recall any electrical charging points at any French,Portuguese and Spanish service stations and hotels.read more

my girlfriends car has always been serviced by the Kia dealership and in March we noticed it was using oil. But no leaks. After a few checks they think it is the piston rings but we have to pay £530 so they can take out the engine and take it apart and hopefully Kia will say it is under warranty if it is we get the money back if not we have a car with no engine in and have paid £530 as well. Although they say it should be a warranty claim we have to take the risk read more

From the moment we entered the building you could see that this dealership was the db's !! The team are more like one big family and all assist one another to the benefit of the customer. Sarah in particular made the transition to our new car so easy as she took care of all the necessary paperwork. We even had a video made in order to show family of our choice of car by Harry, ( don't give up the day job, lol) which was emailed to us. I have to say I drove down from Preston Lancs today a round trip of over 150 miles to view a Kia Venga, I was most impressed with the whole experience, I had an appointment with Ian Clewes to view the car upon arrival the vehicle was parked outside the door with trade plates on ready to drive, there was no pressure in any way what so ever and the test drive was very very informative and comprehensive upon return to the dealer ship there was no pressure in any way what so ever hence the reason why we paid our deposit and have arranged collection for the end of next week thanks for a most enjoyable purchasing experience, Just to let people know I had spent many years in the motor trade up till 2006, Ken Jervis dealer ship is run how every dealership should be run with quality service from quality people.read more

Got my first brand-new car yesterday. It is also the first Kia car I have had. I went for a Rio 3. The sales person, James Ashworth was not at all pushy. He let me take everything at my own pace. I had a test drive on 22nd September and on 3rd October ordered car. From ordering the car to driving off the forecourt, it was under 2 weeks. When all paper work was signed, I was introduced to one of the Service advisors, Joss Mayer as I had taken out a service plan. Even though I was not purchasing a top of the range vehicle, I felt I was treated as though I was purchasing the top range. I was even offered everytime tea or coffee when I went in the showroom which to me felt very welcoming. I'm now looking forward to taking my car in for services.read more

Sorry to say we had a very disappointing end to our experience at Ken Jervis Stoke. We purchased a 8 month old used car from this dealership last week, when agreeing the terms of the sale with the sales guy Phil we noticed some very light lacquer scratches on the front left of the vehicle (i appreciate most used vehicles will come with some light marks) My first thoughts on noticing the marks were to ask for a discount on the asking price but the salesman came up with a much better solution if we agreed to purchase the car the dealership would remove the scratches for us ! So after agreeing to also chuck in some new mats we payed the deposit and arranged to collect the car a week later. On collection day after waiting in reception area for 45 mins ! we started the paper work and went out to take a look at our new car the mats were there but unfortunately so were the scratches. When we asked about the scratches the atmosphere changed we were told that used cars come with scratches and they felt that the condition of the car was adequate ( I must point out that we had already payed for the car in full by bank transfer by now ) i also pointed out that the car still had the same dirt in the interior ( sticky residue on dashboard and a dirty steering wheel) as the day we test drove it which the dealership also agreed to get cleaned "We Valet all cars we give to customers" came the reply. Not this time ! I attempted to get a resolution for the scratches to be told by the quite bullish argumentative manager that i had 3 options 1.leave the car and have the whole front wing resprayed For lacquer marks ! 2. Forget the whole deal and walk away Lose my £500 deposit ! 3. Take the car and leave. I pointed out to the manager that this was actually the ONLY option ! Even when i chose option 3 and said i wish to get the paper work done and leave the manager continued to hound me asking if was happy with the sale. What do you think! My advice if you buy a used car from these guys is DO NOT pay in advance and check on the day of pick up they have actually done what they agreed on at point of sale and good luck.read more

We have had our kia for 5 years now and have always gone to this dealership for all mots etc, great place, you can wait whilst they do the mot's and they give you a cuppa and a biscuit-not ordinary biscuits but a posh shortbread biscuit, awesome magazine selection and a business corner with free WiFi if, like my husband your company isn't aware you are using work time to get your car fixed!! All staff are very friendly and welcoming, I also had a great chat with one of the sale guys about dogs and which car and rubber mats are best!! They are car sales without being those annoying car sales, if you know what I mean!!!!read more

We had a 'waiting' appointment for attention to our Ceed's brakes. Very efficient & friendly reception staff. When we arrived, the car's paperwork was to hand & we were soon in the seated area complete with coffee, biscuits & a choice of magazines. The job took just over an hour & Neil from the Service Department, went through what work had been carried out. Prices compare very favourably with other garages we have used in the past. Very impressed with Ken Jervis. The staff, regardless of whether or not they are having a good day, are always friendly, helpful and professional.
